Twisted Tea
To keep production costs low, the client requested that the T-shirt design use only two imprint colors: white and gold. Instead of viewing this as a limitation, I approached it as a creative challenge.
By thoughtfully using the blue fabric of the shirt as an active part of the design, I treated it as a third color element. This technique added dimension and contrast, allowing the artwork to feel more detailed and dynamic while still meeting the two-color printing requirement. Using the blue shirt itself as part of the artwork added depth and visual interest without any extra printing cost.
This design uses bold, block lettering with strong color blocking in white and gold to create a striking, high-impact look. The Twisted Tea can is included as a small accent, keeping the focus on the clear, confident message while maintaining brand presence.

This design features a circular sunburst with the slogan wrapped inside, creating a compact and energetic composition. The Twisted Tea can is placed at the bottom, balancing the design and reinforcing brand identity in a fun, approachable way.
This project was a great exercise in balancing creative expression with practical constraints, like the two-color printing limit. It pushed me to think strategically about how to use the shirt’s color as part of the design, resulting in bold, eye-catching visuals that still stayed cost-effective.
